Hi Charles, thank you for your kind words and enthusiasm. The sound you

heard that night was the result of many many hours of diligent practice.

To play the pipes well takes years of correct learning ( usually private

instruction ) and a regimented daily practice schedule. Bands that do not

adhere to these high standards can sound pretty awful. It's always nice

to hear that our hard work has been noticed and appreciated. Thank you.

We post our upcoming events on our web site. You may want to check it

occasionally for local performances. We will be playing a short

performance at the end of each Viet Nam Wall ceremony in Wickham Park on

4/19 and 4/25. I believe the ceremony starts around 7:00. You are also

invited to attend any of our practice sessions at the Melbourne J.Cs.

club house on Post Rd. just east of Wickham. Our practice is around

4:00pm on Sundays. There is a map on our web site. If you would like to

make a donation to the band, Make the check out to; The City of

Melbourne Pipes and Drums. You may send it to me: David Spurlock, 196

35th. St. Cocoa Beach. 32931 Thanks again, David
