The City of Melbourne Pipes and Drums took 2nd place at the grade 5 level at the Dunedin Highland Games on April 12. I am proud to have been a part of it. Here is what Dave Spurlock, the Pipe Major of the band had to say: |
"Hi Kids, well if there's anyone on the planet that hasn't heard |
yet, we took second place at Dunedin. You all have cause to be very |
proud. Dunedin isn't just a games, it's THE games, the last games of the |
season, the one you get to gloat about until next year. Bands have been |
honing there skills all season to deliver their best performance at |
Dunedin. We bested all but one, a feat that by all accounts, couldn't be |
done. Kudos all around." |
