The City of Melbourne Pipes and Drums took 2nd place at the grade 5 level at the Dunedin Highland Games on April 12. I am proud to have been a part of it. Here is what Dave Spurlock, the Pipe Major of the band had to say:

"Hi Kids, well if there's anyone on the planet that hasn't heard

yet, we took second place at Dunedin. You all have cause to be very

proud. Dunedin isn't just a games, it's THE games, the last games of the

season, the one you get to gloat about until next year. Bands have been

honing there skills all season to deliver their best performance at

Dunedin. We bested all but one, a feat that by all accounts, couldn't be

done. Kudos all around."
